• • • Our 'Ready to Burn' Oak Bulk Bag is made up of Oak which is kiln-dried to under 20% moisture content. This will give you a consistent clean burn with maximum heat output.
    • Oak is a dense hardwood, which makes it ideal for a long, steady burn. Its tight grain and high density mean it burns slowly and evenly, producing consistent heat over time. Unlike softer woods that burn quickly, oak provides a strong, lasting fire with good embers
    • Each bag measures 80cm x 80cm x 80cm. Average log length is 25cm (10 inch), with some potentially being longer or shorter.
    • Use on all wood-burning appliances and keep warm in no time, Arriving in a reusable bag makes delivery a simple process.

A few Tips for Burning Oak

Because Oak is such a dense hardwood, it needs a bit of help getting started. We recommend beginning your fire with some kindling or faster-burning wood like birch to build a good bed of hot embers. Once your fire is established add your Oak logs and enjoy the slow, steady warmth they provide for hours.

Delivery - Please make sure you have the space and we can gain access with our transit and crane

We will endeavour to offload the firewood as close as access allows to where you would like it placed. Bulk bags can not be dragged along the floor. For limited access we suggest ordering log nets as these can easily be carried through side gates, up and down stairs etc.
